Medication Therapy

Trochantic Bursa Hip Injection
A trochanteric bursa injection is a minimally invasive procedure in which a steroid is injected directly into the trochanteric bursa in the hip joint. An ultrasound or x-ray may be used to inject a steroid directly into the hip joint for pain or arthritis.

Knee Injections
Knee injections are very common for knee pain. Cortisone (a steroid) is the mainstay of treatment but other injections and types do exist. This includes viscosupplementation (i.e. gel) and PRP injections. Dr. Jennings and his team will have a conversation with you to determine what is best for you.
