Research Accolades for 2025
Dr. Jennings was recently recognized by The AdventHealth Research Institute for the most publications in the Rocky Mountain Region in 2025. Additionally, he has been recognized by Avant-Garde Health as an Orthopedic Surgery Research All-Star for 2025 where he is in the top 3% of all orthopedic surgeons with the number of peer-reviewed research publications nationally.
Dr. Jennings elected into the prestigious Hip Society.

The Hip Society is an academic by-invitation-only membership organization currently consisting of 216 members who are internationally recognized thought-leaders, innovators, mentors, researchers, and educators. Founded in 1968, The Hip Society is proud of its rich history, tradition, and leadership in the field of arthroplasty.
Dr. Jennings is also a member of the prestigious Knee Society (2022).
2025 John N. Insall Traveling Fellowship

Dr. Jennings and Colorado Joint Replacement hosted the 2025 Insall Traveling Fellows in Denver, CO. Since 2002, a group of 3-4 national and international surgeons have traveled around North America for one month to various Knee Society member programs (~10 sites for the month). Dr. Jennings and the surgeons at CJR are honored to have been chosen once again to educate these surgeons. This fellowship continues to foster education and research, with a sharing of ideas, techniques, and camaraderie between traveling fellows and Knee Society members.
2025 American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) Annual Meeting Podium Presentations

Dr. Jennings and his team had 3 podium presentations at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX. His team had 3 of 50 presentations at this years meeting. The 50 papers presented were chosen from ~2200 abstracts that were considered for a podium presentation.
The 2025 Knee Society Meeting, New York, NY

Dr. Jennings recently attended the members only meeting of the Knee Society in New York, NY. He presented his current data on cannabis use to society members. This was a prospective, randomized cohort of patients who utilized a synthetic THC vs. a placebo pill after total knee replacement as an adjunct to pain control.
Surgeon Posture & Ergonomics in Knee Replacement | Dr. Jason Jennings at University of Denver
Dr. Jennings recently participated in another study with the University of Denver, Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. This study focused on surgeon mechanics and posture during total knee replacement surgery. The goal of this study was to identify better techniques for surgeons to potentially decrease overuse injuries during surgery.

As a 60-year-old psychotherapist, Nicol works with patients going through periods of physical and mental pain. But Nicol herself has faced – and overcome - such challenges herself.
Then in the summer of 2021, Nicol met with Dr. Jason Jennings and his team at AdventHealth Medical Group Colorado Joint Replacement. Dr. Jennings believed that much of Nicol's pain was due to arthritis, and he recommended joint replacement surgery for both her knee and hip.
2025 International Consensus Meeting on Infection

Dr. Jennings gave several presentations at the 2025 International Consensus Meeting on Infection in Istanbul Türkiye. The purpose of this meeting was to create compendiums of up to date recommendations, related to various fields of orthopedic surgery, that will improve patient care. This meeting had experts from over 100 countries.
2025 AAOS Podium Presentations

Dr. Jennings gave several podium presentations at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. This included his data on infection and complex primary total knee replacements.
The 2025 Frank E. Stinchfield Award

Dr. Jennings was the principle investigator for the paper that received the 2025 Frank E. Stinchfield Award given by The Hip Society at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA.

2024 AAHKS Podium Presentation

Dr. Jennings presented his data on surgical preparation of the hip prior to hip surgery on November 9, 2024, at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX. He was 1 of 57 presentations at the annual meeting. The 57 papers were chosen from ~1900 abstracts that were considered for a podium presentation.
2024 Insall Traveling Fellowship

Dr. Jennings and Colorado Joint Replacement hosted the 2024 Insall Traveling Fellows on October 19-21. Since 2002, a group of four national and international surgeons have traveled around North America for one month to various Knee Society member programs. Dr. Jennings and the surgeons at CJR are honored to have been chosen once again to educate these 4 surgeons. This fellowship continues to foster education and research, with a sharing of ideas, techniques, and camaraderie between traveling fellows and Knee Society members.
The 2024 Knee Society Meeting – London, England

Dr. Jennings recently attended the members only meeting of the Knee Society in London, England on September 4-7 2024. He presented his current data on diagnosing infection in the early post-operative knee and hip replacement patient. This was a multi-center study with The Mayo Clinic Arizona and Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. His findings were presented to approximately 100 current members of the Knee Society.
